Mariah recently completed her Juris Doctor at Queen’s University.

 

During her law studies, Mariah provided legal services to low-income seniors and guidance to second year students as a student leader with the Queen’s Elder Law Clinic. She also volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada, researching Indigenous water rights in the Kingston area. Most recently she served as the President of the Queen’s Law Students Society 3L Council, Co-President of the Queen’s Environmental Law Club, Chair of the Yearbook Committee, and Chair of the Law Ball Committee.

Prior to law school, Mariah completed her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences at the University of Guelph where she volunteered at the Student Help and Advocacy Centre and Student Foodbank. Mariah also served as President of the Guelph Pre-Law Society.

In her spare time, Mariah enjoys running, hiking, and baking treats to share with friends.
