Brintha completed her Juris Doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School.
During law school, Brintha volunteered as a Legal Researcher for Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC) for the segment on Accessible Media Inc’s television program entitled “Know Your Rights.” In this position, she informed viewers of their rights as it pertained to novel disability and human rights issues affecting millions of people across Canada. In this post, she was honoured with the Chief Justice Richard Wagner Award for demonstrating an exemplary commitment to PBSC’s mission of providing free legal support to people and communities facing barriers to justice.
In her 1L and prior to attending Osgoode, Brintha attended the University of Ottawa, English Common Law. There, she took part in a number of exciting extra-curriculars ranging from a moot court competition to a legal research and writing position for Capital Rainbow Refuge, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to sponsoring persecuted LGBTQ+ refugees. As a transfer student, she remained devoted to mentoring other transferees and assisting young students in their transition into a new law school via an active presence in Osgoode Facebook groups and other social media platforms.
Brintha completed her undergraduate education at the Schulich School of Business at York University where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration. As an active member in the Schulich community, she held several executive positions on student clubs through which she hosted a variety of professional development events for young business minds.
Brintha is passionate about sports and travelling. In her free time, she likes reading, experimenting with new cuisines, spending time with friends and entertaining her two twin puppies.
