Aperçu

Armando completed his J.D. at Queen’s University. During his undergraduate studies, Armando completed an academic exchange at the Stockholm School of Economics in Sweden where he narrowed his studies in entrepreneurship and start-up ventures.

Prior to law school, Armando completed his Bachelor of Commerce at Queen’s University. Upon graduation, he worked as a Financial Analyst at the Bank of Montreal. In this role, he worked with stakeholders across the bank to ensure proper accounting treatment and financial reporting for technology-related expenditures.

During the course of his legal studies, Armando was heavily involved in his community. During his first year at Queen’s Law, Armando served as the Treasurer for the Law Students’ Society of Queen’s University, and as a Mentor with the Queen’s Commerce Law Association where he provided mentorship to Commerce students interested in attending law school. During his second year at Queen’s Law, Armando was an Orientation Leader, helping first year law students transition to law school and joined the Alumni Relations Committee where he helped organize and plan events for Queen’s Law Alumni.

While finishing his final year of studies, Armando earned a BRYTER Engineering Certificate, which equipped him with skills in legal technology and automation, enhancing his ability to create efficient legal processes. Most recently, Armando wrote an independent research paper under the supervision of Professor Sean Rehaag, where he critically examined the efficiencies and costs of legal technology and its impact on access to justice for self-represented litigants.

During his spare time, Armando enjoys traveling, playing soccer and golf, snowboarding, along with spending quality time with friends and family.
