The Alberta Labour and Employment Group presents Bill 32: Restoring Balance in Alberta’s Workplaces Act Webinar

On July 29, 2020, Bill 32: Restoring Balance in Alberta’s Workplaces Act, 2020, received Royal Assent and became law in Alberta. The act provides employees and employers with clearer and more transparent rules promoting fairness and productivity, including more clarity about rest periods, overtime averaging, deductions from employee wages, temporary layoff notices, labour relations matters and more.

In this webinar, the Alberta Labour and Employment Group will provide an overview of the key changes to Alberta’s labour and employment legislation, some of which are already in effect and many of which will take effect on November 1, 2020.
