Luciano Aguilera

Luciano Aguilera, a triple-qualified lawyer, focuses his practice on corporate and securities matters. His practice involves representing domestic and international clients in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate finance, and various other corporate and securities  matters. Luciano has represented clients of an array of industries in complex cross-border deals involving multiple jurisdictions. Luciano is fully bilingual in Spanish and English.

Prior to joining Miller Thomson, Luciano practiced at another major law firm in Toronto, where he acted for public and private companies in domestic and cross border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate and securities matters. He also worked as Senior Legal Counsel at Scotiabank in Toronto, where he provided corporate legal advice on matters related to Latin American and Caribbean countries and markets. Additionally, Luciano practiced several years in Chile’s largest law firm and in the Miami office of a major U.S. law firm.
